Falling in Love with Italy—Again and Again

My name is Mariah, the mind behind Amore Vita. My love for Italy began in 2020, when Amore Vita took to the Amalfi Coast to photograph our first fully planned elopement. This passion never fade, but grew stronger as I planned more events and elopements for couples dreaming of an Italy wedding day. I have been an International Wedding Photographer since 2019, but never guessed that all of my hard work would land me in Italy in 2020. Italy truly stole my heart from the very first moment I experienced its charm. The art, the language, the food, the people, and above all, the way life is celebrated here with such fullness and intention. What began as a fascination quickly became a deep passion for the culture and lifestyle. 

Fast forward to 2024, I met the love of my life and our first trip together was to Italy. A little over a year later, I was planning our own Italy wedding and we chose to say our vows in Ravello, my favorite town on the Amalfi Coast of Italy and the place where my husband and I fell in love just weeks after meeting each other. (See photo above from the best day of my life so far).  Over time and through many life changing experiences on my time spent in Italy, I have built many beloved and trusted partnerships across Italy to offer couples and their guests an unforgettable experience beyond the wedding day. From romantic sunset boat rides in Positano and scenic boat tours to Capri, to immersive wine tours, walking tours through historic towns, and hands on cooking classes with local chefs, every detail is thoughtfully curated. These partnerships allow Amore Vita to craft not just a beautiful weddings, but a full Italian experience filled with culture, adventure, and lasting memories.


My enduring passion for Italy- its rich cultural heritage, exquisite landscapes, and timeless elegance- has forever inspired me to dedicate my career to curating and capturing life’s most meaningful moments here. As an Italy wedding planner and photographer, I have the privilege of blending artistry with deep cultural appreciation, creating bespoke experiences that reflect the unique beauty of this extraordinary country. It is both a joy and an honor to celebrate love in a place where romance and tradition are so deeply rooted. I have traveled many places all over the world to photograph weddings, but no place has come close to stealing my heart the way that Italy and its people have. This heartfelt connection is what led me to build a career as a wedding planner and photographer in Italy. It brings me immense joy to help others experience the magic of this country through carefully curated celebrations and timeless imagery. For me, there is simply no better place in the world to honor love, beauty, and connection.
